Aldeia dos Indios Pataxo’
Esta india estava vendendo uns acessorios de cabelo, brincos e colares lindos. E veio vender bem pra mim, que adoro essas coisinhas *~,~*
This girl was selling accessories and I love it!
I was talking to those kids and they were really friendly and smily, I asked to take pictures of them, and they were more than happy to pose for me, but everytime I took the pics, they would stop smiling and look very serious. ;(
I really like this sculptured figures, because it is really raw and made with simple construction materials, from building work.
Museu Indigena – Indigenous Museum
They were made of recycling bins.
Armadilhas usadas pelos indios para cacar animais.
It was used by the indigenous people to catch the animals.
Indigenous people’s Fair
I LOVE this guy’s body painting!
Aldeia dos indios Pataxo’
This is the 4th oldest church in Brazil.
On the way back, going to the airport, we nearly missed our flight, because there was a protest on the streets. The teachers were asking their pay rises that they supposed to have received by the end of 2010. The bus driver was telling me that they asked the indigenous people to help because if the teachers were protesting by themselves, the police would get involved and remove them from the streets. But because the Indigenous people were there as well, then, the police can not get involved, because the Indians are patrimony of the country, they had to wait for FUNAI (National Indian Foundation) to deal with it.
Even though I nearly missed my flight, I was really excited to be able to see the indians dancing in real life! But at the same time I was really praying for that dance not to be a rain dance, because it was so hot and I was loving the weather
The kids were really nice and they asked to take a picture with me! In the same time that they were interesting and different to me, I was really different to than too, a japanese looking girl with blue hair!!! Maybe they though I was a bird!

This beach is called Coroa Vermelha, It is the site where the Portuguese explorer Pedro Álvares Cabral first set foot on Brazilian soil on April 22, 1500.
This is Barramares Beach, Porto Seguro.
I love to drink coconut water, so this place was perfect for me, surrounded by coconut trees

Brazil – March/April 2011
Just got back from my home town, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
We had an amazing time, we went there for 3 weeks , so many things has happened whilst we were there, that it felt like we were there for longer than that
At the airport, while we were waiting for our flight, we could see the ‘Supermoon’
The phrases written on the back of the trucks, in Brazil are hilarious! This one I spotted on the way to visit my uncle.
After visiting my uncle, my son now has decided, he wants to be a pilot when he is older
We were really lucky, my uncle had some free time to take us for a ride! My son loved it!!!! And as he sat on the front of the plane, he thought that he was the pilot!!! Bless him! *~,~*
